I installed it as suggested replacing the previous version in CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/bibunits However, I renamed the 00Readme file to README as this will be shown by web browsers and ran bibunits.dtx through pdflatex to produce readymade documentation. The following facilities are given: two environments for typesetting dialogues in prose or in verse; new document divisions corresponding to acts and scenes; macros that control the appearance of characters and stage directions; and automatical generation of a `dramatis personae' list. License type: gpl Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- v1.2: Added support for `poemscol' package. Introduced an `uppercase' series of sectioning commands. First argument in Character made optional (this causes incompatibility with previous versions). (While I was at it, I also renamed macros/latex/contrib/metre/readme to macros/latex/contrib/metre/REAME. Thus web browsers will automagically display this file when entering the directory.)
