It writes PS levels 1, 2 and 3. Depending on the PS level one can use run-length, flate and ASCII85-compression or encoding. Alpha channels in PNG and TIFF can be converted to PS level 3 image masks. It is a perl script that reads an input file containing the LaTeX source with SQL commands, and writes a LaTeX file that can be processed with your LaTeX package. The SQL commands will be replaced by their values. It's possible to select a single field for substitution substitution in your LaTeX document, or to be used as input in another SQL command. When an SQL command returns multiple fields and or rows, the values can only be used for substitution in the document. This version only supports MySQL databases. It has been tested on Linux, but should work an all platforms where Perl is installed. - ----------------------------------------------------------------------

The code for PDF links has been improved, the color of links changed from red to blue to conform with other packages, and the documentation now mentions that recent versions of Levy & Knuth's cweave should be run with the +e flag to work correctly with webfiles.sty! Give suitable warnings for files listed in an embedded RequireVersions statement that do not appear in @filelist, and vice versa. (This was on the to-do list.) 2. CTAN submission: FixpPak 8 for emTeX/TDS (OS/2)

Please, unpack it in the CTAN directory systems/os2/emtex-contrib/emtexTDS . Doing so will replace the present files readme.eng readme.ger README.fixes and create a new subdirectory fix008 . (Please, do not specify the option -a for unzip; text files have already Unix line endings.) Please, remove the existing subdirectories fix004, fix005, fix006 and fix007; they are obsolete now.
