I am pleased to announce version 1.4 of the nameauth package (1.28 was not released, as it necessitated the present changes). New features include more robustness in places like marginpar and list material, a CapThis macro that works for all instances of Name, and an alwaysformat option that allows calling out names as one might find in some older German reference works. With documentation extensively rewritten for readability and accessibility, this marks a milestone in my quest to automate the formatting and indexing of names. I hope others may find it useful.
