Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is mostly a housekeeping release, to establish what is the current version of fontinst (after a few years of slight confusion). It is the result of a review of the fontinst development history, and includes some items that had been lost along the way.

The primary changes relative to the previous release 1.929 lie in documentation and examples rather than code, but a few code changes exist. Of greatest practical importance is probably that fontinst.sty no longer has an external dependency on trig.sty; the necessary macros have instead been inlined. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
