Continuing to clear out my backlog... I have uploaded a new version of relsize.sty to ftp.tex.ac.uk: relsize.sty 3.1 July 4, 2003 to replace tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/misc/relsize.sty
Significant changes
1) The new version tries harder to make changes of constant relative scale (magsteps), rather than just following the sequence of font size commands (which have irregular size increments). It will continue to lock on to those specified fixed sizes (with possible user control) but may interpret steps differently. Old:
ormalsizesmaller => small (10pt -> 9pt)
New:
ormalsizesmaller => footnotesize (10pt -> 8pt)
This new system is like a chromatic scale as opposed to a diatonic scale. (Hmmmmm maybe I should provide a compatibility package option...)
The math size-changing is changed to have super/subscripts attached better. It is still not a seamless solution though.
i've installed the file as requested; thanks for the upload
