Tobias Oetiker provided a new version of acronym for me to install, on tuesday 2nd november. it's been noticed that this version had an incorrect version number in it...

... so we now have a new version, 1.16; just installed here in macros/latex/contrib/acronym

version 1.16 has no distinguishing property _other_ than a correct record of its version number.
