Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- package xstring update version v1.4 2008/11/04
This package does not require LaTeX (but eTeX is required). Consequently, the xstring.tex file should be installed in the tex/ subtree.
=========== Changes =========== * from this version, arguments can be (La)TeX code, i.e chars, control sequences, groups between braces, and tokens with other catcodes (excepted catcode 6 and 14). New code for almost all macros. * New expansion mode : expandarg The first token of each argument is expanded one time, then the macro is called. * many corrections in the manual. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
