Announcement text given by the contribution's author: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Long proofs break the flow of a paper, and should be moved to an appendix. However, this often means the reader has to flip back and forth between the statement of the theorem in the text and the proof in the appendix. This macro solves the problem by letting you write the theorem in the body, and repeat it verbatim just before the proof in the appendix.

The abbreviated format for writing up theorems, lemmas, &c. may be useful even if you don't have any proofs in your paper. - - ----------------------------------------------------------------------
