Announcement text given by the package's contributor: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- A (much needed) update to Keith Reckdahl's Using Imported Graphics in LaTeX and pdfLaTeX has been uploaded to CTAN. The new version (Version 3.0) has been updated for pdfLaTeX, and the latest versions of the caption and subfigure packages.
The document describes EPS and other graphics formats, graphics software, the commands needed to import graphics, alignment of imported graphics, many topics related to Figure environments (including customizing captions, creating side-by-side figures and subfigures).
