On Sun, 27 Jul 2008 Christoph Bersch submitted an update to the
pst-optexp
package.
Location on CTAN: /graphics/pstricks/contrib/pst-optexp Summary description: Drawing optical experimental setups. License type: lppl
Announcement text: ----------------------------------------------------------------------
The package pst-optexp is a collection of optical components that facilitate easy sketching of optical experimental setups. Mechanisms for proper alignment of different components are provided internally. This way the user does not have to care for proper orientation of the elements.
The changes in this new main version:
* Added fiber-optical components
* Added support for components with internal refraction (e.g. prisms)
* Added support for arbitrary connection types (fiber and beam mixed). Components can be connected directly at definition time or later.
* Added new free-ray objects - optdiode - pentaprism - ightangleprism - doveprism - optprism
* Added support for supplementary nodes for electric connections
