mppattern{<name>} ... endmppattern defines a tiling pattern which can be used with 'withpattern' operator to fill a closed path by replicating the tile horizontally and vertically. egin{mppattern} ... end{mppattern} is exactly the same as mppattern ... endmppattern. See luamplib manual for details.
