On Mon, 17 Oct 2005, Uwe Lück submitted an update to the

lineno and ednotes

packages.

The lineno package adds line numbers to selected paragraphs with reference possible through the LaTeX ef and pageref cross reference mechanism.

Ednotes is a macro package for typesetting scholarly critical editions. It provides macros for critical edition typesetting with LaTeX, including support for line numbers and layers of footnotes.

Mainly, a bug in vertical spacing has been fixed -- when a math display or a list meets a heading, or a heading meets a sub-heading [addvspace had been disabled].
