On behalf of the LaTeX Team I'd like to announce the public beta test of the new LaTeX release (officially dated 2005/12/01).

Location on CTAN: macros/latex/beta-test

This directory contains four zip files:

latex2e.zip tools.zip graphics.zip cyrillic.zip

Documentation and installation instructions are included in the latex2e.zip archive.

Problems should be reported via the normal LaTeX bug reporting mechanism at

http://www.latex-project.org/bugs-upload.html
