This sounds like an excellent idea, but could you call them (and perhaps the package) by the more conventional name of swelled rules? I think a lot of people may have a problem identifying the package under the name eline. Perhaps swrule?

Considering that I frankly have no idea what Englische Linien are properly called in English, I don't care. Go ahead. Rename the package. ;-)
