during the next week the ctan-ann mailing list will be changed to use a new mailing list software, namely GNU Mailman. Today you will receive an automatically generated message explaining how to confirm your subscription to this new incarnation of the ctan-ann mailing list.

Until next weekend, messages will still be sent via the old (majordomo) software. Afterwards, they will be sent using the new software.

This means: if you do not confirm your subscription until next weekend, you will not see new messages after that time. However, these messages will be archived can be accessed using the web interface.
