i have updated my version of the rotating package on ctan. since i last announced an install, i have -- reworked the way in which the package remembers what page it's on, which seems to have solved the problem about page-related rotation. -- mended an infelicity in the way in which captions were produced.

as always, bug reports to my address, as in the package, are welcome.
