I have uploaded isodate.tar.gz to ftp.dante.de. It contains the new version of the isodate package, please replace the files in CTAN:/macros/latex/contrib(/supported)/isodate. License stays LPPL. There is an xml file in the distribution for the catalogue.
From the README:
Tune the output format of dates.
This package provides six commands to switch the output format of the commands oday, printdate, printdateTeX, and daterange (partly language dependent): isodate switches to yyyy-mm-dd;
umdate switches to dd.,mm.~yyyy, dd/mm/yyyy, or mm/dd/yyyy;
shortdate switches to dd.,mm.,yy, dd/mm/yy, or mm/dd/yy; TeXdate switches to yyyy/mm/dd; origdate switches to the original LaTeX format; and shortorigdate switches to a short format, e.g. dd mmm yy.
This version adds Swedish to the list of known languages (thanks to Christian Schlauer).
Thanks for the update, I replaced the old versin by the new one, in
macros/latex/contrib/isodate
