Jean-François Burnol submitted an update to the
etoc
package.
Summary description: easily customizable TOCs License type: lppl
Announcement text: ----------------------------------------------------------------------
1.04 The main new feature is support for label and ef:
I. ableofcontents label{toc:A} or ableofcontents* label{toc:A} creates a label toc:A as usual (the starred form gives a `local' table of contents).
II. Elsewhere in the document, ableofcontents ef{toc:A} will re-display the contents of the TOC with label toc:A (the ef is detected and swallowed by ableofcontents).
III. One can also do ableofcontents label{toc:B} ef{toc:A} Then ef{toc:B} may be used elsewhere in the document to refer to this toc:B location (it just prints the number of the concerned TOC, but is of course an hyperlink if package hyperref has been loaded).
The two TOCs with labels toc:A and toc:B will have the same contents but their layouts and titles are decided locally and may differ completely from one another.
