i'm back from my break, and almost immediately the daemon springs into action:

The following information was provided by the package's contributor.
Name of contribution: keycommand Author's name: Florent CHERVET Location on CTAN: macros/latex/contrib/keycommand Summary description: key-value interface for commands and environments in LaTeX License type: lppl
Announcement text given by the package's contributor:
I revised the code and optimize it pretty well I think !
In particular keycommand does not load etextools anymore. It only requires: etex, etoolbox, kvsetkeys and (of course) xkeyval packages.
Definition and execution of keycommands should be much faster now, { and the code is more readable for the ones who like reading implementation part and the log is more readable for the ones who like reading logs ;-) }
Bug in providekeycommand has been fixed.
thanks for the upload; i have installed the new version and updated the catalogue repository.
Users may view the package catalogue entry at http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/keycommand.html or they may browse the package directory at http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/keycommand
don't rush to read the trivial change i made to the catalogue; it won't even appear on the web for a few hours.
