Polish extension of Computer Modern fonts, PL fonts in Type1 (PostScript) format. Fonts use the same .tfm files as for .pk fonts generated by MetaFont. The last release (2000) of fonts was eventually adapted to the (mostly guessed) demands of the Windows environment. Still, the fonts are usable with TeX; however, encoding files were added, as Windows and TeX use different encoding schemes. The current release changes:

• the layout of the distribution reorganised to conform with TDS v. 1.1;
• pl.map was replaced by pltext.map and plother.map (for more easy substition by LM fonts).
