With the original author's permission, Frank Mittelbach has corrected some spacing bugs in shadow.sty, and changed its licence to lppl.

i've installed the new version as macros/latex/contrib/other/misc/shadow.sty

i've moved the old version, macros/latex209/contrib/misc/shadow.sty to obsolete/macros/latex209/contrib/misc/shadow.sty
