On Wed, 24 Aug 2005, Martin Gieseking submitted an update to the
dvisvgm
package.
Dvisvgm is a command line utility that converts TeX DVI files to the XML-based Scalable Vector Graphics format.
New feature in this release: Fonts that are not available as PFB files are now vectorized by tracing Metafont's bitmap output. This function is not perfect yet but already usable.
