Unfortunately, this new version (v0.7a) introduces an incompatible change. The placeholder used to identify the calendar year within .events files has been renamed from \year to \calYear to avoid conflicts with other packages.

Furthermore, holidays linked to Easter Sunday can now be generated automatically with the help of the LaTeX package `easter`. See, for example, `tikz-kalender-example1.tex`.
