Memoir is a configurable class for typesetting general fiction,

non-fiction and mathematical books. It encompasses the standard book and report clasees, and can simulate the article class and a double spaced typewritten manuscript.

It provides a variety of predefined page, chapter and caption styles and

easy means of creating new ones. There is an intuitive way of setting page margins, etc., with an option for printing trimming marks. Documents can use 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 or 17pt as the nomal font size.
