Today I have uploaded the file elsarticle.zip, to ftp://ftp.tex.ac.uk/incoming/elsarticle.zip . This file contains a new document class for authors of articles submitted to Elsevier. Because the directory macros/latex/contrib/elsevier already exists, I propose that the contents of this zip file are unzipped into a new directory macros/latex/contrib/elsarticle.

elsarticle.cls, related documentation and supporting packages are released under the LATEX Project Public License, either version 1.3 or any later version. This work has the LPPL maintenance status 'author-maintained'.

i've installed this new class and its documentation, etc., on ctan at macros/latex/contrib/elsarticle
