thanks for the upload; i've installed the new version, and updated the catalogue repository.
Announcement text given by the package's contributor:
A new documentation section entitled `surprising uses of etoc' shows how the package can create `lists of arbitrary things', in addition to its usual job, still not using any other file than the .toc file.
new commands:
etocthename, etocthenumber, etocthepage, (they provide the name, number, and page number without any hyperref decoration nor extra xspace)
etoclink (etoclink{name} makes a link named `name' to the original sectioning unit target, the same target to which are linked etocname, etocnumber and etocpage)
etoctoccontentsline, etoctoccontentsline* (macros to write data to the .toc file to help the package do `lists of things', besides its main job with tables of contents)
etocnopar (to typeset a TOC or a ListOf inline as the package default was to always start with a par)
various utility macros: etocoldpar, etocaftercontentshook
modified command: etocmulticolstyle
Various clean-ups in the code. More examples of the use of the package included in the documentation.
