Announcement text:
Fonts for the graphical symbols for symmetry elements used in crystallography. tex-archive/fonts/cryst already had the files cryst.mf and cryst.tfm to create the symmetry symbols. These remain unchanged. The files cryst.afm and cryst.pfb for PostScript Type-1 fonts have been added. The old files cryst.tex, cryst.dvi, cryst.ger and ucrys.fd are obsolete and can be deleted.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/fonts/cryst . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/info/?id=cryst (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear).
thanks for the upload; i've installed the package as requested (at Cambridge, in the absence of the dante.ctan.org manager).
Distribution managers should note the change of licence (it was other-free in my categorisation). The font should therefore be removed from distributions.
