This version provides

-- a revised scheme -- addtocounter is used instead of stepcounter -- setcounter is redefined to obtain an optional argument, which holds a list of associated counters, which should be set to the value as well. -- Suspension/resuming of counter is possible, i.e. the counting can be put on hold and resumed later on. -- some new routines for queries on the properties of counters whether they are drivers or associated counters and a better documentation.
