This new version of skeyval package is a significant departure from previous versions. It aims to integrate the features of xkeyval and pgfkeys packages by introducing a new type of handlers. The skeyval package puts handlers at the beginning of the key, unlike in pgfkeys. Style keys, links, changing key callbacks and values on the fly, and other features of pgfkeys are introduced in a new context.
