Summary description: Diagramming and commenting on Go games
Announcement text: ------------------------------------------------------------------------
pgf-go 0.2026.10.23 is a major update.
- A compute kernel in Lua (default with LuaLaTeX), with an expl3 fallback for the other engines.
- The rules of the game: captures, "N at M" notes for kos, and the territory found by \territory{auto}, with the score (\pgfgoscore).
- SGF games: \sgf draws a game on a board, \sgfdiagrams draws it as a series of diagrams as in books (with comments, variations and the result), \sgfanimation steps through it with buttons (animate), and \sgfproblem draws problems with their solutions. Files in UTF-8, Latin-1, GBK, Big5, Shift_JIS, EUC-JP and EUC-KR are read.
- Named boards: resume a position in another diagram, or show part of it inside the text with \pgfgoview (also before the board, and from another document).
- Star points, arrows and lines, marks of your own, and images for stones and boards, with three new profiles (shell, yunzi, baduktv).
- A grid to lay out diagrams (pgfgolayout), partial = auto, and border coordinates in the Western, Japanese or Chinese style.
- The texts of the package are translated into ten languages.
