I've uploaded xl2latex in dante.ctan.org:/incoming/xl2latex
package summary
----------------
xl2latex
Convert Excel (97 and above) tables to LaTeX tabulars
This Excel to LaTeX converter exports the current selection as a LaTeX file which can be included via input in your actual document.
It supports multicolumn cells (only horizontal), borders, font styles (bold, italic), colored cells and text, LaTeX math in cells and cells with wrapped text.…
[View More]
It has a nothing to do with Excel-To-LaTeX, despite some ideas and features.
---------------
this should go into CTAN:tex-archive/support/xl2latex
license: gpl
----- End forwarded message -----
Thanks for the submission, I installed it as suggested.
Unfortunately, the above mentioned Excel-To-LaTeX is packaged in a zip
file CTAN:tex-archive/support/excel2latex/xl2latex.zip even though
the file in that archive is called Excel2Latex.bas again.
I'm sorry about this confusion of names but I am not allowed to rename
the older archive due to several reasons.

I've uploaded a new version (1.3a) of the float package to
ftp.dante.de:/incoming. This should replace the existing version in
tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/supported. It is still a LPPL package.
This updates the float package in a number of respects, including
- Introduces new `plaintop' float style
- Introduces `
estylefloat*' command which will restyle floats but
leave their caption processing alone
- List-of-float starting …
[View More]code factored out (for the benefit of
packages like KOMA-Script, suggested by Markus Kohm)
- Adds float@addtolists command to put something (such as extra
vertical space at chapter boundaries) into all active list-of-float
files
- End-of-float handling simplified according to H.A. Sommerfeldt
----- End forwarded message -----
Thanks for the submission, I installed it as suggested in
CTAN:/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/supported/float replacing the
old version.

I installed the package macros/latex/contrib/supported/datenumber
by Jörg-Michael Schröder.
>From the documentation:
This package provides commands to convert a date into a number and vice versa.
Additionally there are commands for incrementing and decrementing a date.
Leap years and the Gregorian calendar reform are considered.
The license is LPPL.

the package formerly known as dashdbox was found to suffer a minor
infelicity. in the course of correcting the bug, the author (Reuben
Thomas) decided to change the name of the package to dashbox.
i have therefore deleted the previous
macros/latex/contrib/supported/dashdbox, and installed the new version
of the package in macros/latex/contrib/supported/dashbox
the dashbox package does fbox(etc)-like things, with dashed borders
the bitfield package (macros/latex/contrib/supported/bitfield) …

also been upgraded, since it uses dashbox.
the bitfield package draws bitfield diagrams.

bundledoc is a post-processor for the snapshot package that
bundles together all the classes, packages, and files
needed to build a given LaTeX document. It reads the .dep
file that snapshot produces, finds each of the files
mentioned therein, and archives them into a single .tar.gz
(or .zip, or whatever) file, suitable for moving across
systems, transmitting to a colleague, etc.
As an added bonus, this distribution includes a small
script called arlatex. arlatex is a LaTeX-specific
archiving program that combines a bunch of files into a
single .tex file. When the .tex file is run through latex,
all of the original files are recreated and the LaTeX
document is built. bundledoc can be easily configured to
use arlatex as its archiver in place of tar, zip, etc.
