Version number: 1.6 License type: gpl Summary description: dvisvgm 1.6 has been released Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dvisvgm is a command-line utility that converts DVI files to SVG. The recent version 1.6 is a small feature release with the following additions/changes: * Option --zoom has been added to visually scale the generated SVG graphics while preserving the original size and position values of the graphic objects. * Option --linkmark has been extended to allow to select the box/line color highlighting the linked areas. * The default value of option --linkmark has been changed from line to box. * Hyperlink markers (boxes and lines) are only split on line breaks while kept together in all other cases. * dvisvgm now looks for libgs.so.X rather than just libgs.so if the Ghostscript library is not directly linked to the binary. Supported ABI versions are X = 7, 8, and 9. Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The previous release added a tocloft compatibility layer which however broke memoir class compatibility (the memoir compatibility testing for that release had been done before modifying the source code for tocloft compatibility...). This is fixed here, as well as the related (but less crippling) issue of the etoc tocvsec2 compatibility layer: nothing special needs to be done under memoir's version of tocvsec2, contrarily to the situation with the original package. Caveat: there still has not been intensive testing of etoc under memoir class, so possibly some other issues may arise at some point. Version number: 2.25 License type: lgpl Summary description: 2D & 3D TeX-aware Vector Graphics Language Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- A superfluous play button in rendered 3D images embedded by recent versions of media9 is now suppressed. The contour.asy module was reverted to a previous stable linearized version. A numerical precision issue in makepen was fixed. A routine for drawing braces was added. Deep recursion is now avoided in guide flattening. A workaround for an Adobe Reader transparency artifact was implemented for the pdflatex and xelatex tex engines. Raw PRC output can now be generated with the -f prc command-line option. Vector patches are now sorted to work around opacity artifacts in many rendering engines. The xasy code editor now accepts command-line options. Under MSWindows, the ghostscript library is searched for in both the 32 bit and 64 bit registries.
