Version number: 12.3 License type: lppl1.3 Summary description: Symbols accessible from LaTeX Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List is an organized list of over 14200 symbols commonly available to LaTeX users. Some of these symbols are guaranteed to be available in every TeX distribution. Others require font files that come with some, but not all, TeX distributions. The rest require font files that must be downloaded explicitly from CTAN (http://www.ctan.org/) and installed. The Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List currently showcases symbols from 205 separate typefaces. The latest release of the Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List adds a few hundred new symbols. More importantly, it once again builds with the latest versions of all of the packages represented. Optimize number of calls to kpsewhich. This occasionally gives large savings in run time. 2. Fix bug that if an .aux file is deleted and then latexmk is run, the wrong number of runs of (pdf)latex was made. 3. Implement direct support for XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX. 4. For XeLaTeX, generate pdf file via xdv file and xdvipdfmx; this often gives much better run time for documents containing large graphics files. 4. Correct detection for missing graphics files with XeLaTeX. 5. Work around LuaTeX line-wrapping bug in .log file. 6. Update documentation. 7. Improvements in code and diagnostics.
