The easiest way to view the manual is by visiting:
https://latexref.xyz
It is also available in TeX distributions and on CTAN at:
https://ctan.org/pkg/latex2e-help-texinfo
Notable changes since the last release:
Additions:
* DocumentMetadata for experimental tagging support.
* hepage for page number representation.
*
obreakspace and U+00A0 synonyms for ties.
* The (simple) slash command.
* overrightarrow and overleftarrow.
* List the standard ligatures in LaTeX (ff fi fl ffi ffl `` '' -- --- `! `?).
* Describe LaTeX's special characters ( @ @ % $ & _ ^ # ~}.
* Briefly mention hilatex and the hitex engine (https://ctan.org/pkg/hitex).

Philippe Nadeau submitted the
rigidnotation
package.
Version: 1.0.0 2024-05-13
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Typeset vectors and matrices following the RIGID notation
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Notation conventions for rigid transformations are as diverse as
they are fundamental to the field of robotics. A well-defined
convention that is practical, consistent and unambiguous is
essential for the clear communication of ideas and to foster
collaboration between researchers.
Based on an analysis of the proceedings of the International
Conference on Robotics and Automation 2023, a new notation convention
called RIGID was defined, which complies with the ISO 80000 Standard
on Quantities and Units, is designed to be concise yet unambiguous,
and easy to use.
This LaTeX package facilitates the use of the RIGID notation in
manuscripts preparation through simple customizable commands that
can be easily translated into variable names for software development.

Simon Pfahler submitted the
colorblind
package.
Version number: 1.0 2024-05-12
License type: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Easy colorblind-safe typesetting
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In colorblind-safe documents, the contents are presented in a way that the same
information is conveyed to readers regardless of a potential color vision deficiency.
This package provides the tools necessary for colorblind-safe typesetting in LaTeX. It
provides color schemes for a wide range of applications. The most commonly used schemes
are qualitative schemes, providing easily distinguishable colors for use in graphics, but
also for text coloring or highlighting. Additionally, diverging and sequential schemes
are included which can be used for encoding quantitative information using colors. This
package incorporates colorblind-safeness into the writing process, making it both less
cumbersome and less error-prone.
