stealcaps
package.
Version: 1.0 2018-01-21
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: “Steal” small capitals
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package enables you to borrow small capitals from another
font than the main document font. For that simply load the package
and specify the replacement font via the key-value-option 'from',
i.e. usepackage[from=<font name>]{stealcaps}.
In case you use pdfLaTeX the font name has to be NFSS compliant.
With XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX, correspondingly, it has to be fontspec
compliant.

This tiny package serves the mere purpose of providing a uniform

capitals). It relies on the iftex, textcase and microtype packages
and comes with four new user macros:
extlcc, the main feature: lowercased small capitals,
spacedcaps, a prefix to small capitals text commands to
slightly increase their spacing,
extslcc and extssc, which are shortcuts for
spacedcaps extlcc and spacedcaps extsc(accordingly).

Jean-Francois Burnol submitted an update to the
footnotehyper
package.
version: 1.1 2018-01-23
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description:
The footnote package by Mark Wooding dates back to 1997 and has not
been made hyperref compatible.
The aim of the present package is to do that.
Announcement text:
----
bugfix:
Footnotes disappeared when savenotes environment was used _inside_ a
minipage. Indeed, I never had considered this use case, but it did work
with original footnote package.
This use case has issues though (e.g. consider a minipage in a savenotes
in a minipage: the sub-minipage also starts footnotes at a...), which
were already present in original package or even simply in LaTeX2e (see
remarks at end of pdf documentation), and I didn't try to address them.
