Uwe Lück submitted the
adhocfilelist
package to CTAN.
Summary description: listfiles entries from command line
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
`adhocfilelist.sh' is a shell script to display a list of LaTeX
Provides... contents on screen. Parameters can be either a list
of comma-separated file names or criteria for the Unix `find'
utility, especially to restrict the list to LaTeX source files
modified <digits> days ago, such as today. Command line options
provide interfaces to the find utility and to packages `myfilist',
`longnamefilelist', and `nicefilist' for accessing and aligning
those file informations.
DOCUMENTATION: The manual `adhocfilelist.htm' can be read by a
web browser, and the command line option `-h' provides an
abridged version of it.
REQUIRED: This works on Unix-like systems only, and probably the
GNU version of `find' is required. The LaTeX bundle `fileinfo'
must be installed, and full functionality requires the LaTeX
packages `longnamefilelist' and `nicefilelist'.

Paul Ebermann submitted an update to the
dateiliste
package.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This update fixes two bugs:
- this package introduced hard spaces in captions (and maybe on other locations,
too) when used together with Babel. These are now removed.
- When used without listfiles, compilation hung in an endless loop. Now we give
a warning instead.
Thanks to Matthias Pospiech, Markus Kohm and Andrew Swann for reporting the bug
and analyzing the causes. See http://tex.stackexchange.com/q/75533/3335 for some
background.

`myfilist' v0.6a provides a trick
(i) FileListRemark to insert comments in the file list
(applied in `gather.tex', see result `CONTENTS.txt'), a hook
(ii) ListGenerator to support `adhocfilelist', and
(iii) NoBottomLines to suppress final messages,
(iv) also issued by the new package option [no-bot]
`myfilist' v0.5 (2012/09/27) provided shorthands and tricks
also preparing `adhocfilelist', two commands address processing
input from the `find' utility (unable to get a proper
comma-separated list with my bash [IFS=',' without effect]).

`nicefilelist' is nice even with short base filenames (up to eight

I failed to announce that `longnamefilelist' has received a similar
MaxLengthEmptyList.
