Jürgen Spitzmüller submitted the
biblatex-publist
package to CTAN.
Summary description: A biblatex bibliography file for publication lists
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The biblatex-publist package provides a biblatex bibliography style file (*.bbx)
for publication lists. The style file draws on biblatex's authoryear style, but
provides some extra features often desired for publication lists, such as the
omission of the own name from author or editor data.

Uwe Lück submitted an update to the
adhocfilelist
package.
Summary description: listfiles entries from command line
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
FIRST UPLOAD was v0.6 as of 2012-10-14.
UPLOAD of v0.7 as of 2012-10-17 (2012-10-18):
* New option -c adds test of date consistency with the
`filedate' package and may thus be a way to check
date consistency with XeLaTeX (where pdffilemoddate
is not available ... may be silly ...).
* Indeed new option -x uses `xelatex' rather than `latex'
(see manual `adhocfilelist.htm' for discussion of
possible silliness -- somewhat missing in `filedate'
discussion).
* Some documentation mistakes have been corrected.
* srcfiles.tex checks date consistency for scripts and
documentation and lists what is used indeed
(but cf. makehtml.log from recent makehtml.tex).
* `adhocfilelist.RLS' provides a release summary with
`typeoutfileinfo', appearing in SrcFILEs.txt too.
v0.8 should allow -c with an explicit list of filenames ...
UPLOAD r0.3 (2012-10-19):
* added present RELEASE.txt (started for v0.7)
* corrected adhocfilelist.tds.zip
* added `filedate' checks in makehtml.tex, additionally
to those in srcfiles.tex
* listfiles in makehtml.tex (HTML driver) more careful,
using `nicefilelist', for comparison with SrcFILEs.txt

Uwe Lück submitted the
filedate
package to CTAN.
Summary description: Access and compare info and modification dates
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
`filedate.sty' provides basic access to the date of a LaTeX
source file according to its ProvidesFile, ProvidesPackage,
or ProvidesClass entry -- the info date --, as well as to
its modification date according to pdffilemoddate if the
latter is available. Moreover commands are provided to compare
the info date with the modification date, with today's
date, or with another date that a script accessing modifica-
tion dates such as adhocfilelist.sh may insert, and to choose
the effect of comparisons (error vs. notice, reference date
characterization). Thus updating the info date (date con-
sistency) of a source file may be ensured by a test during
typesetting from it or by some (shell/TeX) script.
In fact the test today admonished me to update the
documentation source and driver `filedate.tex'. Another
motivating example of date inconsistency was `nicefilelist'
v0.6 as of 2012-10-11 (see version history) with info date
2012/10/03.
