On Sat, 20 Jun 2009 Dan Drake submitted an update to the sagetex package. Sagetex allows you to embed code, the results of computations, plots, and graphics from the Sage mathematics software suite into LaTeX documents. It is similar in spirit to Literate Haskell and lhs2TeX. Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/sagetex Summary description: Embed Sage code and plots into LaTeX. License type: gpl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is version 2.2.1 of SageTeX, which brings a lot of improvements over the version currently on CTAN. CTAN Update: Asymptote

Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language for technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like syntax. Asymptote provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text. An ode module for solving ordinary differential equations was added. A bug in maxtimes and mintimes was fixed. A Levenberg-Marquardt nonlinear fitting routine was added. The format command now returns TeX compatible output only in math mode. A path3 label alignment problem was fixed. On Tue, 16 Jun 2009, Wybo Dekker submitted an update to the isodoc package. The isodoc class can be used for the preparation of letters, invoices, and, in the future, similar documents. Documents are set up with options, thus making the class easily adaptable to user’s wishes and extensible for other document types. Victor Eijkhout’s NTG brief class, which implements the NEN1026 standard, was the starting point.
