It contains a document class for producing books for the publisher Teubner Verlag, Wiesbaden, Germany. Form the README: I have programmed the bgteubner.cls document class by order of the Teubner Verlag, Wiesbaden, Germany. This has been done to ensure that books of this publisher have a unique layout. The publisher has allowed me to distribute the document class with auxilliary files and documentation freely. Unfortunately, most of the documentation is only available in German. Since the document class is intended to generate a unique layout, many things (layout etc.) are fixed and cannot be altered by the used. If you want to use the document class for another purpose than publishing with the Teubner Verlag, this may arrise unwanted restrictions (For instance, the document class provides only two paper sizes: DIN A-5 and 17cm x 24cm; only two font families are supported: Times and European Computer Modern). The document class needs some additional packages, partly relatively new ones, partly packages that are not installed on most TeX installations. License stays LPPL. This version adds support for printing months with Roman numerals, e.g., 14.,X.~2003. >From the README: Tune the output format of dates. This package provides ten output formats of the commands oday, printdate, printdateTeX, and daterange (partly language dependent): ISO (yyyy-mm-dd), numeric (e.g. dd.,mm.~yyyy), short (e.g. dd.,mm.,yy), TeX (yyyy/mm/dd), original (e.g. dd. mmm yyyy), short original (e.g. dd. mmm yy), as well as numerical formats with Roman numerals for the month. The commands printdate and printdateTeX print any date. The date is given as an argument using the actual date format for output: printdate{yyyy-mm-dd}, printdate{dd.mm.yyyy}, or printdate{dd/mm/yyyy}, and printdateTeX{yyyy/mm/dd}. The command daterange prints a date range and leaves out unnecessary year or month entries. E.g. 2000-05-03 to 2000-05-08 leads to `2000-05-03 to 08'. This upload contains the tutorial Using TrueType fonts with teTeX and dvips that describes how to use TrueType fonts with teTeX, actually by converting them to Postscript Type 1 fonts. It is not described how to use TrueType fonts directly. The section about updmap has been changed since it has been outdated in the old version. License stays LPPL. >From the README: Print numbers with a separator every three digits and convert numbers given as 12345.6e789 to 12,345,6cdot 10^{789}. Numbers are printed in the current mode (text or math) in order to use the correct font. Many things, including the decimal sign, the thousand separator, as well as the product sign can be changed by the user, e.g., to reach 12,345.6 imes 10^{789}. If requested, numprint can round numbers to a given number of digits. If an optional argument is given it is printed upright as unit. Numbers can be rounded to a given number of digits. The package supports an automatic, language-dependent change of the number format. Tabular alignment using the tabular(*), array, tabularx, and longtable environments (similar to the dcolumn and rccol packages) is supported using all features of numprint. Additional text can be added before and after the formatted number. If you prefer to use the old version 0.32 you may use numprint032.sty which will stay fixed. The main new features are automatic language support and a really usable tabular alignment. Change log: - 1.10 2003/10/12 New tabular aligment mechanism (now comparable to dcolumn and rccol) with full support of all numprint formats. Math version npbold which aligns with normal math alphabet. Don't use substr package. Provide pmakebox command that works as makebox but takes a text instead of a length for calculating its width. - 1.00 2003/10/07 Automatically add a plus to numbers without sign. Define shortcut p for umprint on demand. Automatic support for different number formats in different languages (already supported are English and German). Better argument parsing. Automatically don't separate degree sign from number. Customize input characters (decimal sign, exponent character). Define a list of ignored characters. User defined signs exceeding +,-, and pm. Load configuration file if present. Improved calculation of box width for mantissa and exponent.
