Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mf2pt1 facilitates producing PostScript Type 1 fonts from a Metafont source file. mf2pt1's advantage over tools such as TeXtrace and mftrace is that it does not rely on bitmap tracing and therefore can produce higher-quality Type 1 fonts than trace-based tools. The catch is that mf2pt1 imposes a number of restrictions on the Metafont input so it is not, as the name may imply, an automatic converter of arbitrary Metafont fonts to Type 1 format. The recent version 1.6 is a small feature release with the following additions/changes: * Option --zoom has been added to visually scale the generated SVG graphics while preserving the original size and position values of the graphic objects. * Option --linkmark has been extended to allow to select the box/line color highlighting the linked areas. * The default value of option --linkmark has been changed from line to box. * Hyperlink markers (boxes and lines) are only split on line breaks while kept together in all other cases. * dvisvgm now looks for libgs.so.X rather than just libgs.so if the Ghostscript library is not directly linked to the binary. Supported ABI versions are X = 7, 8, and 9.
