On Sun, 8 May 2011 Mohamed El Morabity submitted the cantarell package. Summary description: LaTeX support for the Cantarell font family License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cantarell is a contemporary Humanist sans serif designed by Dave Crossland and Jakub Steiner. This font, delivered under the OFL version 1.1, is available on the GNOME download server at http://download.gnome.org/sources/cantarell-fonts/0.0/. This package provides support for this font in LaTeX. New CTAN package: esstix

On Thu, 5 May 2011 Michael Sharpe submitted the estix package. A submission was uploaded to /home/ftp/incoming/upload-20110504-234125.001/ on dante.ctan.org. Summary description: PostScript versions of the ESSTIX fonts, with virtual fonts a LaTeX support files for use as math alphabets. License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- These are the original ESSTIX fonts in PostScript format. They seem to have been a precursor to the STIX project and were donated by Elsevier to that project. The accompanying virtual fonts with customized metrics and LaTeX support files allow their use as calligraphic, fraktur and double-struck (blackboard bold) in math mode. The support files are all LPPL but the fonts themselves are copyrighted by Elsevier, though donated to the STIX project. It is unclear to me if this means they should now be considered as covered by the same SIL Font license under which the STIX fonts were released. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/fonts/esstix .
