Thanks again, Jim Hefferon
======================================================================
The following information was provided by the package's contributor.
Name of contribution: EasyLaTeX Author's name: Bayle Shanks Location on CTAN: support/easylatex Summary description: Turns ASCII math into LaTeX source License type: lppl
Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Why is it quicker to express simple equations in plaintext than it is to write the equivalent LaTeX? EasyLatex is a preprocessor to make writing LaTeX much easier.
EasyLatex accepts 'ASCII math' such as
The identity matrix is the matrix for which a_i j = 1 when i = j, and 0 everywhere else; for example, in three dimensions, I = [1 0 0 ; 0 1 0 ; 0 0 1].
and generates equivalent LaTeX source documents.
