Charles P. Schaum submitted an update to the
nameauth
package.
Version number: 2.6 2016-09-19 License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Name authority mechanism for consistency in body text and index
Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 2.6 of the nameauth package accounts for names that are split by a page break by making an index entry before and after the name.
Affix commas in the text (comma option and old syntax) no longer affect the index. The old syntax is virtually interchangeable with the new (apart from the cross-indexing macros). One easily can suppress commas or add commas after affixes.
Many documentation improvements not only try to display the subject matter in a more succinct and understandable manner, but a number of special cases are covered. More examples help those looking for specialty formats and applications, especially in cross-cultural uses. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
