+ a brief summary of what your upload is intended to do.
Major restructuring.
Now a static/shareable library, libdvi2bitmap, which the dvi2bitmap program now `merely' wraps. The library has extensive API documentation, and is intended to be useful for other projects.
Can read DVI files from a pipe.
Internal bitmaps now automatically expandable.
Documentation improvements, discussing optimal font and parameter choices, and usage of dvi2bitmap as part of a batched workflow (ie, fancy pipe plumbing).
Builds using automake/libtool, so should (?!) be buildable on cygnus systems (reports keenly appreciated).
Various stability improvements; some speedups.
Some minor option changes from 0.10 (which had major option changes from previous versions); I hope these are the last such changes.
i've (eventually) installed the package at dviware/dvi2bitmap. thanks for the upload.
sorry about the delay: the load of being the only windows admin in the department has been slightly stressful over the last few days, for some reason. today, my colleague came back off holiday :-)
