I have now made more revisions, tested, and uploaded placeins.sty and placeins.txt ver 2.1 to CTAN UK, to replace the version 2.01 recently uploaded. (I hope version 2.01 never gets into a distribution!)

i have installed the files as requested, and pushed them out to other ctan sites with all due haste...
