I've uploaded chktex 1.6.2 to ftp.tex.ac.uk incoming directory, it should replace the current chktex in the archive. The file name is: chktex-1.6.2.tar.gz
ChkTeX is currently located in /support/chktex and should probably stay there.
i've installed the new version as suggested; thanks for the upload.
i've also, following discussions with baruch, removed the old version 1.5, which we were holding on ctan while baruch took over maintenance. (the old version was at obsolete/support/chktex.)
