On Sat, 24 Apr 2004, Apostolos Syropoulos submitted to CTAN:
I have uploaded to ftp://ftp.dante.de/incoming the file phaistos.tar.gz, which contains font that contains all the symbols of the famous Disk of Phaistos plus a LaTeX package. I suppose you can install the contents of the bundle under languages/greek/phaistos. After all, there is scientific evidence that the script was used to ``write'' Greek. Note that when you decompress and untar the bundle, you will get the followind directory structure:
./phaistos ./phaistos/dvips ./phaistos/dvips/phaistos.map ./phaistos/latex ./phaistos/latex/phaistos.dtx ./phaistos/latex/phaistos.ins ./phaistos/tfm ./phaistos/tfm/phaistos.tfm ./phaistos/type1 ./phaistos/type1/phaistos.pfb ./phaistos/var ./phaistos/var/getglyphs ./phaistos/var/glyphTable.pdf ./phaistos/afm ./phaistos/afm/phaistos.afm
Thanks for your upload, I installed it as
fonts/phaistos
