The original version of the Short Math Guide by Michael Downes was not available in source form, and therefore not able to be posted on CTAN. This new version is available with both source and pdf files, and is fully linked.
Since much of the material is new, suggestions and corrections are invited. The email address for such comments is in the Guide following the table of contents.
