for a period this morning, our mail system (incorporating @tex.ac.uk) and probably also web server (incorporating www.tex.ac.uk and hence the uk tex faq) won't be functioning.
ftp.tex.ac.uk and rsync.tex.ac.uk ought not to be affected.
the disruption should all be over by lunch time
