Antonis Tsolomitis submitted an update to the
NewComputerModern
package.
Version: 7.1.0 2025-12-16 License: gfl
Summary description: Computer Modern fonts including matching non-latin alphabets
Announcement text: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NewCM now supports all diacritics blocks of Unicode with proper anchoring, at least for Latin, Greek and Cyrillic. Cyrillic has become more compatible with the Didot design of CM. Older Cyrillic coming from cmu have been preserved as alternatives. Phonetic extensions blocks have been added: U+1D00--U1D7F, U+1D80--U+1DBF. Full Editorial marks support has been added, for scholarly text, critical editions, manuscript transcription, and linguistic annotation (critical apparatus, conjectural readings, palaeography, codicology etc). This includes editorial marks with small caps.
For more information and some other minor changes and improvements, please check the documentation.
